OPEN STAGE à la bewegungs-art:

As a professional dancer you can test innovative ideas. You can dare to engage in performative experiments in an accessible setting in front of an audience. We give you space for risk, the opportunity to tread previously untrodden paths and, simply said, to try things out.

We invite you to refrain from high technical set design, unless it is explicitly part of your performative approach.
Depending on the evening, one or more artists or groups perform. The open stage lasts max. 90 minutes and takes place at rotating locations.

Contact us up to 2 weeks before the performance. We do not pay a fee, but we take care of the public relations and ticketing.

OPEN STAGE 2023_No.1:

once before onCe

The first open stage in 2023 is dedicated to improvisation as a stage art. In doing so, it initiates the year of improvisation at bewegungs-art freiburg. once before onCe is intended as a prelude to the onCe Festival Freiburg from May 15 to 21, 2023. It is part of a series of workshops, talks, and other activities.
