Basic Projects provide the possibility
- to prepare as a preeducation for the biennial education and to scrutinize, if this education is appropriate for you
- to improve one's skills in New Dance, to acquire fundamentals of this kind of dance and especially to get acquainted with our work
- to establish basics for another education within the realm of bodywork, dance, theater and movement
- or simply to attend intensively to dance over a longer period
The Basic-Projects are intensiv training, within fulltime education over a period of three months. They are offered every spring and autumn.
It introduces the most important elements of our education and prepares a valuable groundwork for every further work with body, dance, theatre or movement.
To the fore comes the experience of one's own structure of movement and body, the work on basical techniques, improvisation and creation.
The Basic Projekts are directed as discrete projects by two or three of our main-staff-members, enriched by one week with a guest teacher.
Classes are Monday to Friday from 9.30 to 15.00 h, respectively Friday till 14.00 h. this adds up to 29 hours per week. During the whole term there is one week off.

As we normally get more applications than there are vacancies, we select on the basis of the written applications. There are two deadlines, one for applicants who have to plan in the long term and another for the more spontaneous ones. After the first deadline eight to nine applicants will be chosen definitely until latest the 20 December and a waiting list will be opened for those who still have good chances to become accepted. After the second deadline we chose another eight to nine candidates from the hitherto received applications plus the waiting list until the 16 January. The waiting list will be maintained, so there is still the possibility to move up in case of drop outs. We are sorry to say, that we cannot make any exceptions concerning the deadlines.
